Storefront Hitchcock
The album of the movie - the Jonathan
Demme-produced live show, in which Hitchcock was filmed playing acoustic sets in a Manhattan shop window. The recordings were made in December 1996, and the movie was eventually given full cinema release. A CD and (different) LP present the soundtrack, and retain plenty of between-song dialogue. A DVD of the movie followed two years on.

1998 CD album
Warner, 9362-46846-2
|
Notes: Of the 11 Hitchcock compositions on the CD, four had not been heard before (tracks 1, 2, 9 and 11). In addition, "I Something You" had not yet been released officially in the UK. Of necessity, the CD has 'tracks' in between the songs, consisting of Hitchcock's monologues. The numbering on the disc therefore shows numerical gaps.

Notes: track listing above itemises the songs only. "The Devil's Radio" and "I Am Not Me" (tracks 1 and 9) had not featured on either of the audio editions, and bring the total song count across all formats to 19. The songs not featured in the DVD are almost all new ones ("Where Do You Go When You Die?"; "The Wind Cries Mary"; "Beautiful Queen"; "Statue With a Walkman"; "Eerie Green Storm Lantern").
