This is the BBC
CD issued in 2006, as a sequel to the Egyptians' Kershaw Sessions, and containing recordings made for the BBC between 1995 and 1999, mainly for Andy Kershaw's show. In principle a set of solo recordings, the sessions feature several regular collaborators in various combinations (Tim Keegan, Kimberley Rew, Jake Kyle and Rob Allum).

Notes: "Andy Kershaw Jingle" (track 10) is a 30-second ditty based on Elizabeth Jade, but is too much of a throwaway to be considered a song in its own right. This version of "I Saw Nick Drake" has Tim Keegan credited as co-writer of the music. The (later) version on A Star For Bram does not. Cover painting is by Hitchcock's father Raymond, and had previously appeared in the book, Middle Class Hero.
